Description

This was perspective was really a challenge for me.
The first thing which confused me a little was the view angle of Lara,
because the watcher should see what Lara seems to see.
Then the position of her left arm, because she is ready to fire
so anything in front of her view cause a tactical disadvantage.
The background scene was inspired form a German submarine boat XXI class built in 1944.

Looking back, I started this sketch at least five times.
After scatching Laras outlines, the paper went into the bin
because I was not confident with the scene
(strangely she did not do what I expected).

Finished the pressure lock I look at the scene and it was ... f#§$%*!?!.

All paper was fired into a corner, what a nightmare - have I lost my talent?
Then I remember to my deepest days at the university.
Talent is not enough, you need hard to work on it to bring it into shape.

All began with a new bright white and empty paper ... 6 hours for Lara and additional 3 hours for the scene.

It was done on a 80 g/sqm bright white paper DIN A4,
I used a TK fine Executive 0.7mm Faber Castell pencil,
the used lead mine was a Faber Castell 0.7mm B
